James Horrobin designs and makes metal works of great diversity, encompassing architectural, ecclesiastic, domestic and sculptural objects. He has produced one off commissions from his workshop and studio at Doverhay for the last 20 years.

The majority of his work is for private clients, but he also makes a number of small pieces for galleries and exhibitions. Samples of his work can be seen at the Victoria and Albert Museum and at the National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, Tennessee.
